Zefir

Zefir builds an AI-transaction layer for European home sales, pooling listings and buyer data across agents and using AI matchmaking to connect sellers with qualified buyers.

Zefir builds what it calls the AI-transaction layer for home sales in Europe, beginning with France. The company operates a collective real estate sales platform that unifies competing agents on a shared system, pooling listings and buyer data, and applies matching algorithms to connect sellers with qualified buyers. The technical work spans artificial intelligence, AI matchmaking, AI-powered search assistants, real estate transaction technology, and data pooling and matching algorithms.

Two products sit at the centre of the business. The Zefir collective real estate sales platform uses AI to streamline matchmaking across pooled data; homes listed through it sell in an average of 58 days, nearly twice as fast as the national median. ZIA is described as Europe's first AI-powered home-search assistant, acting as a digital buyer's agent that helps users search, compare and decide faster.

The platform connects 4,500 real estate professionals and powers more than €600 million in annualised home sales. Agents on the network can earn up to €100,000 more per year through additional commissions. Zefir has raised over $55 million in funding.

Present in France, the company has stated ambitions to expand across Europe's top markets, with a mission of building the connective tissue of European real estate transactions. Its operating model is collaborative by design, bringing competing agents onto a shared platform rather than a fragmented one.
