Sine Engineering develops jamming-resilient data links, GPS-independent positioning and swarm coordination for UAVs in GPS-denied and spectrum-contested environments.
Sine Engineering builds communication and positioning platforms for unmanned aerial vehicles operating in GPS-denied and spectrum-contested environments. Founded in April 2022 by engineers with counter-UAS backgrounds in response to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company is headquartered in Lviv and concentrates on three product lines: jamming-resilient data links, GPS-independent positioning and navigation, and swarm-ready coordination technology. All three are reported to have been proven in real combat conditions in Ukraine.
The company's reach is substantial relative to its age. More than 200 UAV manufacturers deploy its solutions on their platforms, and its technology is said to power most of the active interceptor operations in Ukraine. Swarm coordination systems are designed for multi-drone operations conducted under electronic warfare threats, an area of growing relevance across the defense and counter-UAS sectors.
Sine Engineering describes its approach as software-first and modular, with replaceable hardware components intended to allow rapid adaptation as threats evolve. Technical work spans resilient UAV communications, electronic warfare resilience, and modular hardware-and-software systems, alongside counter-UAS technology more broadly. Funding details and team size are not disclosed.
