SENSIA Solutions designs and manufactures AI-powered infrared imaging systems, pairing optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras with proprietary AI analytics software to detect and quantify gases including methane, hydrocarbons, refrigerants and ammonia. The company was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the Infrared Lab of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and reports more than 15 years of experience in the field.
Its product line spans handheld quantitative OGI cameras for portable leak detection and measurement, and fixed continuous monitoring systems that autonomously carry out gas detection, flame detection, flare efficiency monitoring, surveillance and intelligent thermography. The underlying technical work covers infrared imaging, thermography, computer vision, optics and sensor design, and emissions monitoring.
SENSIA serves oil and gas, environmental compliance, chemical and mining, parks and wildlife, and safety and security customers. It operates from its headquarters in Madrid, Spain, with presence across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and works with more than 40 distributors.
