Quantum Machines

Quantum Machines develops quantum control and orchestration infrastructure, including the Quantum Orchestration Platform, OPX1000 controller, PPU and the QUA programming language.

Quantum Machines builds quantum control and orchestration infrastructure aimed at removing the friction between quantum control and classical computing. Its work sits at the intersection of quantum-classical hybrid computing, pulse-level classical processing, orchestration software, chip design and programming languages for quantum control. The company reports that more than 50% of the companies developing quantum computers use its systems.

The company's flagship product is the Quantum Orchestration Platform (QOP), which coordinates quantum and classical operations across hardware and software. Alongside it sits the OPX1000, a modular quantum controller, and the Pulse Processing Unit (PPU), which provides classical computing at the pulse level and enables hybrid control of quantum and classical operations. QUA, the firm's programming language, is designed for quantum control and orchestration.

The company is built by a multidisciplinary team that includes quantum physicists, software and systems engineers and chip designers. Its stated focus is enabling researchers and builders working in quantum computing and quantum research and development to iterate quickly and work through setbacks.
