Voltrac SL

Voltrac SL builds autonomous electric unmanned ground vehicles for agriculture and defence logistics, including its 3.5-tonne THOR UGV, from Valencia, Spain.

Voltrac is a Valencia-based company that designs and builds autonomous electric Unmanned Ground Vehicles. Founded in 2024, it set out to reinvent the tractor from first principles, applying robotics, electric-vehicle and aerospace engineering to two fields: agriculture and frontline defence logistics. The company's stated aim is to address Europe's food security and defence needs through hardware that ships directly to the field.

Its principal product is THOR, a 3.5-tonne class autonomous electric UGV engineered to operate around the clock in harsh conditions. Voltrac moved from concept to launching THOR within roughly one year of founding. Technical work spans autonomous technology, robotics, electric vehicles, aerospace engineering and unmanned ground vehicles; the company operates in Valencia and across Europe.

The working culture is described as fast-paced and hands-on, with engineers and operators collaborating closely and products moving quickly into real-world use. Voltrac recruits people who want to work on tangible, field-deployed hardware and to apply technology to practical problems in agriculture, frontline logistics and food security.
