Veo

Veo builds an AI-powered camera system and cloud platform that automatically record matches and turn footage into analytics and highlight clips for sports teams.

Veo is a sports technology company founded in 2015 that develops an AI-powered camera system for recording matches without a camera operator. The Veo Cam hardware captures games automatically, and the associated cloud platform processes the footage into performance analytics and highlight clips. The underlying technical work spans computer vision, automated camera control, player tracking and cloud-based video processing, with live streaming delivered through the Veo Live feature and individual player tracking through Player Spotlight.

The company's stated aim is to make advanced video analysis accessible to teams at every level, from Champions League academies to amateur and Sunday league sides, and it was founded on the observation that such capabilities were largely confined to professional clubs. Coaches, scouts, players and fans are the primary users of the resulting footage and analytics.

Veo reports serving more than 50,000 clubs across over 90 countries, spanning grassroots sports, professional football clubs, sports academies and amateur teams.
