Synagen is a German healthcare-technology company founded in 2024 by four physicians. It has built an AI platform for oncology workflows, intended to cut the administrative workload carried by clinical teams. The founding team combines clinical experience in oncology, hematology, radiology and computational pathology with expertise in software engineering and data science.

Its main product, Synagen Co-Pilot, converts unstructured patient documents - referral letters, pathology reports, radiology findings and scanned records - into structured patient profiles. These are used for cancer registry reporting, tumour board documentation and clinical consultations. The company's technical work spans natural language processing, medical information extraction and clinical decision support.

A second product, SynGuide, gives oncology professionals natural-language access to DGHO Onkopedia guidelines. Clinicians ask questions in ordinary language and receive answers with proper citations. Both products are aimed at oncology and haematology settings.

Synagen operates in Germany and across Europe, with all data hosted in European data centres and full GDPR compliance a stated priority. The company was a top-10 finalist for the Health-i Award 2026 and has been featured in Handelsblatt and Der Spiegel.
