Soverli

Soverli builds parallel multi-OS smartphone technology that isolates sovereign code and sensitive data in hardware-separated domains while keeping familiar apps and functionality intact.

Soverli develops parallel multi-operating system technology for smartphones, intended to make digital sovereignty usable on everyday devices. The approach allows sovereign code and sensitive data to run in isolated environments without displacing the apps and functionality users rely on. The company is associated with Switzerland and ETH Zurich.

The core of the platform is a set of separated domains on a single device, each operating independently with its own access to memory, sensors and hardware. A company-controlled Android OS can run alongside an employee's personal operating system on the same handset, supporting bring-your-own-device deployments where corporate data must be isolated from personal use. A separate sovereign OS keeps essential applications running even during outages or misconfigurations. The design extends to control of the smartphone software supply chain and to hardware-level domain isolation.

Soverli targets the public sector, mission-critical communications and enterprise mobility, and also offers sovereign OS support on standard devices to smartphone OEMs and consumer electronics makers. The underlying premise is that sovereignty on mobile devices need not come at the cost of a familiar user experience.
