Robin Radar Systems builds radar systems that detect, track and classify small flying objects such as birds, bats and drones, with 300+ radars deployed worldwide.
Robin Radar Systems, founded in 2010, develops radar systems for the detection, tracking and classification of small flying objects - specifically birds, bats and drones. The company draws on 40 years of radar heritage and holds more than 35 patents. Its systems are deployed in the field across defence, aviation, wind energy and security, with more than 300 radars in operation worldwide and a geographic footprint spanning Europe, North America and wider global deployments.
The work sits at the intersection of radar technology and sensor systems engineering: radar detection, tracking and classification of objects that are small, fast and difficult to distinguish from clutter, supported by dedicated radar algorithms. Applications range from bird and bat monitoring at wind farms and airports to drone detection for security and defence customers.
The company employs more than 150 people and represents over 35 nationalities. It is Great Place to Work certified and describes its culture in terms of trust, ownership and ambition, with real responsibility and freedom to innovate given to individual team members and an approachable, flat leadership style. Robin Radar frames its mission as making the world safer through better awareness of small flying objects.
