Quantum Surgical

Quantum Surgical is a medical robotics company founded in 2017 and headquartered in Montpellier, France, with offices in Miami. It builds robotic-assisted technology for interventional radiology, with the aim of changing how cancer is treated. The company employs over 140 people and operates across Europe and the United States. Its product, Epione®, is a robotic-assisted platform designed to help interventional radiologists perform percutaneous tumor ablation with greater precision. The system is intended to make technically demanding minimally invasive treatments more accessible, including for patients who previously had no therapeutic options. Over 1,300 patients have been treated worldwide using the platform, across more than 15 cancer centers. Quantum Surgical works at the intersection of medical robotics, image-guided surgery and oncology, selling into hospitals and cancer centers. The company has been recognized with the Prix Galien USA and selected for the French Tech 2030 program. Its stated objective is to enable hospitals to treat more patients as global cancer cases rise.
