Quantum Motion Technologies

Quantum Motion Technologies develops scalable silicon-based quantum computers using standard semiconductor manufacturing.

Quantum Motion Technologies is a London-based quantum computing scale-up focused on developing scalable silicon-based quantum computers by leveraging standard semiconductor manufacturing technology. This approach aims to make quantum computing more accessible and cost-effective.

The company has delivered the industry's first full-stack silicon CMOS quantum computer, which utilizes CMOS-compatible fabrication processes. This technology promises a 100-fold reduction in both cost and space requirements compared to existing quantum systems. A key milestone includes an installation at the UK's National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC).

Quantum Motion has raised over $160 million in Series C funding, with total equity and grant funding exceeding £62 million. With a team of over 110 people, the company operates in an interdisciplinary environment with expertise across quantum physics, integrated circuit engineering, and software development. Its presence spans multiple locations including London, Oxford, Sydney, San Sebastián, and Maryland.
