OXTS

OXTS builds GNSS/INS positioning and inertial navigation systems for automotive testing, autonomous vehicles, surveying and mapping, including in GNSS-denied environments.

OXTS designs and manufactures high-performance GNSS/INS systems that deliver centimetre-level precision positioning and inertial navigation, including in GNSS-denied environments. Founded in Oxfordshire in 1998, the company has spent more than 25 years working on localisation technology and employs over 100 engineers and specialists. Its engineering work spans GNSS/INS integration, inertial navigation, sensor fusion and MEMS inertial measurement units, alongside survey-grade quad-band GNSS receivers and the use of LiDAR, camera odometry and radar for real-time positioning.

The company's products serve two principal markets. The RT3000 series of GNSS/INS systems is used for vehicle dynamics testing, ADAS sensor validation and autonomous vehicle development, and is trusted by the majority of car manufacturers globally. A range of compact GNSS/INS systems serves the surveying, mapping and mobile mapping industries, providing continuous position and high-accuracy orientation data for georeferencing sensor payloads.

With roots in British engineering, OXTS states that its products are individually calibrated for reliability and consistency, with a focus on applications where failure is not an option. The company's systems are used as an industry standard in automotive testing worldwide, and it continues to invest in sensor fusion technology across GNSS, inertial and exteroceptive sensing.
