Mind Foundry is a UK sovereign applied machine learning company working in Defence and National Security. It builds responsible AI solutions that turn complex sensor data into trusted insights for mission-critical decision-making. The company was founded by Oxford professors Stephen Roberts and Michael Osborne and grew out of the University of Oxford's Machine Learning Research Group, and it continues to bridge academic machine learning research with real-world applications.

Its products include SENTRY, a sensor fusion product that transforms complex sensor data into trusted insights for operational domains, and NIGHTINGALE, an anti-submarine warfare product delivering targeted impact across operational domains.

Technical work spans machine learning, signal processing, Bayesian inference, Bayesian optimisation, probabilistic numerics, sensor fusion, metalearning and responsible AI.
