Arondite

London-based defence technology firm founded in 2023, building AI and mission orchestration software to connect autonomous systems, sensors and robots across manufacturers.

Arondite is a defence technology company founded in 2023 and based in London. It builds foundational software and artificial intelligence intended to connect disparate autonomous systems, sensors and robots, regardless of the manufacturer that produced them - a problem of interoperability at the centre of modern military procurement.

The company's principal product is Cobalt, an AI-powered mission orchestration platform described as "connective tissue" between autonomous assets. Cobalt integrates sensors, effectors and data points into a unified system, allowing human operators to oversee and control multiple autonomous platforms through a single interface while retaining authority over critical decisions. The company's stated technical focus spans AI, mission orchestration software, autonomous systems integration, sensor fusion and human-machine teaming.

Arondite has raised over $12 million to date and holds a multi-million pound contract with the British Army's Global Response Force for next-generation mission orchestration work. The company maintains ISO 9001 quality management certification and UK NCSC Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.

It was founded by Will Blyth, a former British Army officer, and Rob Underhill, a former lead engineer at BAE Systems, with founder background also at Palantir and Helsing Technology.
