Magazino GmbH builds intelligent mobile robots, including the SOTO route train and TORU pick robot, that automate intralogistics in warehouses and production facilities as a Jungheinrich company.

Magazino GmbH develops intelligent mobile robots that automate intralogistics processes in warehouses and production facilities. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Munich, the company has been part of Jungheinrich since 2023. Its engineering work spans autonomous mobile robots, computer vision and perception technology, autonomous navigation, robotic picking and manipulation, and AI-based decision making.

Two products anchor the portfolio. SOTO is an autonomous route train that transports containers in production logistics in place of traditional tugger trains, moving up to 24 containers simultaneously. TORU is a pick robot that handles order picking autonomously for e-commerce operations and is designed to work safely alongside human workers. Both systems are built for 24/7 operation.

The team numbers more than 160 experts drawn from 35 countries and is one of the largest advanced robotics development teams in Europe. The company describes its work as combining intralogistics expertise with perception technology, with an emphasis on quality standards, safety, and collaborative human-robot interaction. Its robots are deployed across warehousing, production logistics and e-commerce order fulfilment, with a presence in Europe.
