Innatera Nanosystems

Innatera Nanosystems is a Dutch semiconductor company developing ultra-low power neuromorphic processors for brain-inspired intelligence at the sensor edge.

Innatera Nanosystems is a Dutch semiconductor company focused on developing ultra-low power neuromorphic processors. Spun out of a decade of research at Delft University of Technology, the company designs brain-inspired computing hardware aimed at bringing artificial intelligence directly to the sensor edge. Its processors leverage neuromorphic and analog-mixed signal computing principles, alongside Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs), to achieve processing speeds reportedly 100 times faster than conventional approaches while consuming 500 times less energy, operating within a power envelope of less than 1 milliwatt.

The company's product portfolio includes the Pulsar neuromorphic microcontroller for edge AI applications and the T1 Spiking Neural Processor, designed specifically for SNN workloads. A software development kit, Talamo, provides tools for developers working with these processors. These products target a range of industry verticals including IoT, wearables, automotive, consumer electronics, and industrial and manufacturing systems.

Innatera's stated mission is to make a billion sensors intelligent by 2030. The company is headquartered in the Netherlands.
