BoWatt GmbH builds agentic requirements and systems engineering software for complex manufacturing industries. Founded in 2023 and based in Germany, the company develops AI-powered tools aimed at requirements management, a discipline that underpins product development in aerospace, automotive, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and industrial automation.

Its flagship product, BoReq, is an agentic requirements management platform for technical sales and application engineering teams. It uses artificial intelligence to help these teams evaluate customer requirements faster and more accurately, turning complex product knowledge into decisions and supporting collaboration and execution. Related technical domains include technical sales automation and quotation process automation.

BoWatt bootstrapped to more than €500k in annual recurring revenue before raising external capital. Its customer base includes Bosch Manufacturing Solutions, BBS Automation and Weber Food Technology. Investors in its first funding round include Atlantic Foodlabs, Buildery (CDTM affiliates) and Prequel Ventures, alongside angels from Cohere and Luminovo.

The team comprises startup builders with backgrounds at Stanford and TUM, and experience at Google and YC-backed AI startups.
