Zerofy

Zerofy is a cloud-based home energy management platform connecting solar, batteries, EVs and heat pumps, using AI and optimisation to run them when solar is available or power is cheap.

Zerofy, founded in 2022, builds a cloud-based home energy management platform for the electrified household. The system connects solar panels, batteries, electric vehicles and chargers, heat pumps, smart meters and other devices, then applies artificial intelligence and optimisation algorithms to operate them when solar generation is available or electricity prices are low. Technical work spans cloud computing, IoT device integrations, energy forecasting and optimisation.

The company's engineering scope is reflected in its device coverage: the platform supports more than 80 device brands and 1,000 devices without requiring additional household hardware. Products include the Zerofy App, a consumer application that continuously measures household emissions and energy costs and recommends personalised ways to reduce them; Mission Control, an interface giving consumers and business customers unified visibility and automated control of connected energy devices; and a white-label version of the platform offered to energy providers, installers and OEMs.

The white-label platform is delivered through cloud-connected integrations, forecasting, optimisation algorithms and AI, and targets energy providers, installers and OEMs alongside residential customers. Sector focus covers residential energy, home energy management, solar, electric vehicles and EV charging, and heat pumps, with carbon emissions tracking embedded in the product.
