Xapien is a London-based deep tech company founded in 2018 that applies artificial intelligence and natural language processing to research and report-writing. Its platform emulates human-led due diligence and background research, producing comprehensive reports on any person or company in minutes rather than days. The system scans 0.5 billion corporate records and 1,500 watchlists across 140 jurisdictions.

The company's work spans risk intelligence and data aggregation, with the stated aim of removing manual effort from traditional compliance processes. Since launching commercially in 2022, Xapien has attracted customers in 15 countries. Its users include global law firms, private banks, universities, charities conducting donor due diligence, risk consultancies and enterprises vetting suppliers and partners. Xapien raised a £6M seed round in 2023 and a $10M Series A in 2024. The team is based in London.
