Valarian, founded in 2020, builds secure, compartmentalised infrastructure for organisations operating in high-trust, high-stakes environments. The company provides a backbone to run and protect mission-critical applications, with a technical focus on domains such as cryptographic workload identity (SPIFFE/SPIRE), default-deny network isolation (Cilium, Istio), and Kubernetes hardening and governance.

Its core product, ACRA, transforms Kubernetes into a hardened, governed environment with per-workload policy enforcement. This integrates technologies including Kyverno for admission control, Vault for short-lived scoped secrets, and NATS for messaging permissions, along with audit and evidence systems. Valarian has deployed hundreds of enclaves across four continents, serving industries like defence, national security, government, and enterprise.

The company has secured $70 million in funding and its team includes backgrounds from US Special Operations, Palantir, and Darktrace, with an emphasis on security, operational reliability, and adopting AI and emerging technologies while maintaining data and system integrity.
