Tulip Interfaces builds an AI-native, no-code platform for frontline operations in manufacturing. The Tulip Platform connects people, machines, devices and systems across the production floor, allowing manufacturers to improve quality, efficiency and traceability while replacing spreadsheets and legacy systems. The company describes its focus as real-time production visibility and end-to-end traceability, drawing on domains including industrial IoT, AI-native applications and no-code platform development.
The founding team came out of the MIT Media Lab, and the company says it has spent over a decade working on frontline operations technology. Engineering staff include people with lived experience of manufacturing problems - spreadsheets, legacy systems and failed Industry 4.0 initiatives - as well as alumni of Formlabs, Autodesk, Solidworks, Markforged and Samsung.
Tulip positions itself around the idea that frontline workers are the most valuable resource in operations, and that technology should be democratised so that those closest to the work can solve problems themselves. The company states that culture is built on collaboration, continuous improvement and a focus on customer value, and that every team, location and function defines its success.
