LiveEO GmbH is a Berlin-based company founded in 2018 that applies satellite technology and artificial intelligence to the monitoring and protection of critical infrastructure. Its analytics platform processes Earth Observation data for customers in railways, energy and utilities, and pipeline infrastructure, where it monitors more than one million kilometres of grid across six continents. Work at the company spans remote sensing, machine learning, data science and geospatial analytics.
The product line includes Treeline, a vegetation management solution; SurfaceScout, for pipeline monitoring; and TradeAware, which addresses compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Alongside these services, LiveEO is building Twinspector, a satellite constellation intended to secure Europe's technological independence in Earth observation - a hardware-software programme that extends the company's remit from data analytics into space systems.
The company employs more than 160 people drawn from over 30 countries and has raised €25M in a Series B round.
