Greencells Group

Greencells Group is a pure-play EPC and O&M provider for utility-scale solar power plants, engineering, building and operating large-scale installations for developers, banks and investors. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Saarbrücken, Germany, the company has delivered more than 182 projects and over 3.3 GWp of installed capacity worldwide.

Its engineering, procurement and construction arm carries out large-scale solar projects with in-house engineering and dedicated construction resources, including on-site teams via subsidiary Greencells CEE SRL in Romania, which gives the company direct control over build quality and timelines. A second service line covers long-term operations and maintenance, combining continuous performance monitoring, expert analysis and proactive maintenance to sustain asset output over a plant's lifetime. Turnkey delivery across both lines is aimed at expanding access to clean energy and reducing global emissions.

Geographically, Greencells Group operates across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas, with offices in Saarbrücken, Abu Dhabi and Romania. The company states that it addresses ESG topics both internally and externally and published its first Sustainability Report in 2024.
