Fortaegis

Fortaegis builds a silicon-rooted Secure Compute architecture spanning hardware, firmware, cryptography and software, quantum-safe by design and scaling to millions of devices and agents.

Fortaegis, founded in 2019, develops a unified, interoperable Secure Compute architecture that embeds security in the physics of silicon and carries it across the whole compute stack - hardware, firmware, cryptography and software. The thesis is that security should be built into the physical properties of compute rather than added later. The resulting system operates at machine speed and is quantum-safe by design. Work on the technology draws on more than a decade of dedicated research and development.

The company's product, the Fortaegis Silicon Platform, is intended to scale across millions of devices and autonomous agents. Its technical span covers hardware and silicon-level security, firmware security, cryptography and post-quantum cryptography, secure compute architecture, AI infrastructure security and autonomous agent security.

Fortaegis raised $50M in a Series A round. It works with governments and the public sector, global enterprises and strategic technology partners, with a stated focus on the defence and national-security needs of Western democracies and their allies. The company operates in the United States, Europe, Singapore and Japan.
