CRC Clean Room Consulting GmbH plans high-tech production and research buildings, with particular depth in cleanrooms and semiconductor wafer fabs. Over more than 40 years the firm has planned and realised over 20 wafer fabs worldwide, across 150mm, 200mm and 300mm formats, alongside thousands of laboratory and cleanroom projects. Its work spans the High-Tech and Life Science sectors and includes research and production facilities.

The company offers integrated planning services: cleanroom and laboratory planning, complete technical building services, and general planning for high-tech facilities. Planning is conducted using BIM methodology, supported by a VR lab in Freiburg that allows digital walkthroughs of designs before construction. The stated aim is efficient, future-proof and adaptable facilities, achieved through an approach that minimises interfaces between disciplines.

CRC is an independent, employee-led company and provides consulting and planning on a manufacturer-neutral basis. Multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, scientists, technicians and system planners work together on projects. The firm operates across Germany, Belgium, China, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa and Turkey.
