Corintis

Corintis builds bio-inspired microfluidic liquid-cooling systems for AI chips, GPUs and CPUs in data centres, claiming up to 10× better heat extraction than conventional methods.

Corintis is a Swiss company developing microfluidic chip-cooling technology for the thermal constraints that now limit high-performance computing. Its bio-inspired liquid cooling systems route coolant through thousands of microscopic channels smaller than a human hair, a design the company says delivers up to 10× better heat extraction and up to 3× lower temperatures than standard cold plates. The systems target AI chips, GPUs and CPUs in data centres. The company has moved from research to deployment. More than 10,000 cooling systems have shipped, and Corintis reports eight-digit revenue. It has raised $49m in total: a $24m Series A led by Intel chief executive Lip-Bu Tan and a $25m Series A1 led by Applied Digital. Partnerships include Microsoft and Applied Digital. The work has been featured in Nature, Scientific American and IEEE Spectrum, and Corintis was named the number-one Swiss startup of 2025. Corintis operates in Switzerland, the United States and Germany, and employs people of more than 25 nationalities. Its stated aim is to unlock the next 100× improvement in compute performance through better thermal management, with an emphasis on energy-efficient computing infrastructure. Technical work spans microfluidics, liquid cooling, heat extraction and bio-inspired engineering.
