Arkadia Space

About

Arkadia Space is a Spanish aerospace company founded in 2020, specialising in in-space propulsion systems for satellites and space vehicles. Based at Castellón Airport, it designs, develops and commercialises green propulsion technologies centred on hydrogen peroxide, including monopropellant and bipropellant thrusters as well as complete end-to-end propulsion solutions incorporating tanks and in-house electronics.

In March 2025, the company became the first European firm to operate hydrogen peroxide-based propulsion in orbit, achieving this milestone aboard SpaceX's Transporter-13 mission. This flight validation followed development work at the company's own private test centre, which it uses for internal testing and validation of propulsion systems prior to launch.

Arkadia's technical scope covers thruster design, propulsion system engineering and in-orbit operations. The company emphasises fast execution and delivery timelines, positioning itself within the growing market for environmentally responsible satellite propulsion alternatives.
